10 questions to ask yourself:
preparation for your personal development
I often consider myself satisfied with my life as it is, but of course a lot of my childhood dreams have faded with time and the obligations of life.
I always yearn for something deeper and more meaningful.
We all face differents problems Honestly, that shouldn’t even bother us or even stop us from achieving our dreams and becoming who we want to be. The dreams we had as children should continue to live in us, even if it’s only for a short time. There is a belief that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks … what if it was possible?
Here are 10 questions to challenge our limiting beliefs.
- What do I really want?
The question of all ages. So much we want to do in our life, and so little time for it in a day.
Finding something that you are good at or passionate about can help you take that small step towards improvement.
- Should I really change?
Today’s generation has another definition of ‘self’, or at least that’s what they say. When we grow up surrounded by teenage nieces and nephews, we learn that there are worse things than having acne. So how does this fit into our lifestyle?
If history has taught us anything, it’s the life we’ve been through and the experience we’ve gained. After all, life is just an eternal restart, nothing is lost, everything is transformed. Fashions pass and then return. Fashions change, but classics remain classics.
- What’s the bright side of it all?
With all the things going on around us, there seems to be no place to even consider that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Anxiety, depression, fear, doubt dominates us, but we can still see it as something positive without going through all of these fears and doubts. What if at the end of the tunnel there was a train instead of a light, well, get in there and take a ride and see what makes the world go round! When life gives you lemons, juice them;)
- Suis-je à l’aise avec ce que je fais?
There is always a solution when we need to decide which pants go with a particular shoe, or handbag, shirt or whatever. It doesn’t take a genius to think of yourself as someone unique, otherwise we would all be the same in everything we do. The variety brings very interesting and exciting questions to experiment with.
- Have I done enough for myself?
Do you have or would you like to do something else? Discontent in large doses in all aspects can be dangerous, but in small amounts you could see and do things you never could have imagined doing.
- Am I happy today?
This is a tricky question, but let’s try to get an answer! You love to be a kind and loving mother or father to your kids, so take it up a notch! Your children will love you even more. The same goes with everyday life!
- Do I attract the opposite sex?
I probably don’t have an answer to that, but that doesn’t mean I can’t try to answer. Whether you change your look, the way you wear your clothes or your hair, or even your attitude towards people, you should always remember that it will always be for your own benefit.
- How much can I earn?
I guess in this case, the question isn’t whether you have too much or not enough, but how much do you really need them? Everyone would love to have a lot of money, that’s for sure, but the question is how much are you willing to work for it.
- What motivates me?
What motivates you? It is an answer that you must find out for yourself. There are so many things that can make people happy, but choosing one can be the hardest thing to do. It’s not like you can’t have a serving of your favorite food. So try out different things piece by piece until you find the right one for you. Life is just an experience after all. We are here to experiment.
- What really makes you live?
So? What really makes you live? You can be just about anything you ever wanted to be, but to stop yourself from reaching something that may seem very difficult with your limiting thoughts is already giving up before you even begin the journey. Always remember that self improvement is not just about physical or philosophical change, but it is something that you really want deep within your inner being.
